 KERALA STATE FILM AWARD 2023 

             

On July 21, Kerala Minister for Cultural Affairs, Saji Cherian, revealed the winners of the 53rd Kerala State Film Awards. The awards were selected by a jury headed by renowned Bengali film director and screenwriter, Goutam Ghose. Out of 154 submitted movies, "Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam" won the Best Film award, while Mahesh Narayanan was honored as the Best Director for "Ariyippu." Mammootty was named Best Actor for his role in "Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam," and Vincy Aloshious received the prestigious Best Actress title for her performance in "Rekha."
